HAJJAH May 07. 2024 (Saba) - The demand for summer courses in Hajjah Governorate for the year 1445 exceeded all expectations with the unprecedented official and popular momentum, reflecting the growing community awareness of the importance of summer courses and benefiting from the school vacation in protecting generations and raising them according to a Quranic vision of faith.

The interaction of all popular and official components with the summer courses embodied the keenness to immunize young people, build their scientific and skill capabilities, and enhance God's guidance in them through remembrance, recitation and memorization of the Qur'an in order to achieve success in this world and the hereafter.

In translation of the call of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to encourage summer courses, many young people and students enrolled in the summer courses this year, to benefit from its programs and activities to promote principles and values that contribute to the refinement of souls and the refinement of capabilities and talents.

The subcommittee for the summer courses, in coordination with the local authority in the governorate and the local councils in the relevant directorates and executive offices, prepared to accommodate students and make optimal use of the summer courses to preserve young people from the dangers of soft war.

The summer courses focus within their plans and programs on avoiding the shortcomings that accompanied previous years, while developing a mechanism for the enrollment of the largest number of young people to develop their perceptions of science and knowledge with a Quranic vision of faith that contributes to the immunization of society.

The features of early planning appeared since the first and second weeks of the launch of the summer courses, in which 98,328 students enrolled in one thousand and 225 schools, an increase of more than 80 percent over last year, and 15,000 students under the supervision of the Women's Cultural Authority in the governorate.

The summer courses and activities receive great attention, based on the sense of responsibility in qualifying the future generation to be able to serve their community, homeland and nation, defend the nation's causes, foremost of which is the Palestinian cause, and keep them away from false cultures.

The popular interest and momentum with the summer courses was clearly demonstrated by the keenness to protect future generations and the hope of the nation from soft war and to qualify them scientifically, faithfully and religiously according to a Quranic methodology, in addition to sports, professional and technical activities.

The Governor of Hajjah Hilal Al-Sufi explained that the demand for the summer courses for the current year comes from the community's belief in their importance in accommodating young people and protecting them from misconceptions and providing them with useful knowledge and sciences in this world and the hereafter, and in the forefront memorizing the Holy Quran and familiarity with its sciences.

The interaction with the summer courses was considered a practical embodiment of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and his keenness to build future generations, provide them with knowledge and awareness, and immunize them from negative influences so that they can lead the nation.

The Sufi Governor praised the level of community interaction and the efforts of the subcommittee for summer courses and its sense of responsibility in developing the knowledge and talents of future generations in various fields and strengthening their connection with God, the Holy Quran, the Great Prophet and the flags of guidance.

For his part, Hammoud al-Maghrabi, deputy governor for culture and mobilization, chairman of the subcommittee for summer schools, said, "Despite the early preparation to accommodate those enrolled in the summer courses, the turnout exceeded all expectations."

He stated that the turnout for the summer courses confused the horns of aggression that are disturbed by the enrollment of young people to receive useful education through the campaigns launched by those horns of incitement against the steps taken by the revolutionary leadership to rehabilitate, build, educate and enlighten generations.

He stressed the keenness to ensure the success of the activities and programs of the summer courses to achieve their noble goals in teaching generations the Book of God and the Sunnah of his Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant him peace, so that they can serve their community, their homeland and their nation as they are the hope of the nation, the homeland and the nucleus of the future.

In turn, the director of the Education Office in the province, a member of the subcommittee for summer courses, Ali Al-Qutaib, explained that the students of the summer courses amounted to 95 thousand and 498 students distributed over one thousand and 206 schools in all directorates, including 25 thousand students in 250 schools.

He pointed out that the number of students of the model courses "boarding housing" reached two thousand and 830 students in 19 schools and the allocation of camps for high school students after the end of the general certificate exams.

He pointed out that this year's summer courses are full of many cultural activities in poetry, story, recitation, theater, sports, agriculture, various religious programs and life skills for students to achieve their aspirations and provide them with crafts that contribute to improving the standard of living.

The summer courses remain a safe haven for male and female students at various stages of education, to provide them with more knowledge and skills and to qualify them scientifically in various fields, most notably memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran and providing them with Quranic culture.
