Al Hodeidah - SABA:
An evening celebration marking the birth anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was held in the Al-Juz neighborhood of Zabid District, Al Hodeidah Governorate.
During the event, attended by Deputy Assistant Governor for the Southern Districts Mutahar Al-Hadi, speakers highlighted the manifestations of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday as an annual occasion to strengthen the bond with the Messenger of the Ummah, renew the pledge to follow his path, and emulate his morals and stances.
They affirmed that commemorating the Prophet’s birth reflects the Yemeni people’s faith-based identity and their adherence to Quranic culture in confronting challenges. The speakers noted that the occasion comes as the Yemeni people wage a sacred struggle in support of Palestine and stand with the just causes of the Islamic nation, considering the glorification of this anniversary a powerful message to the world of the Yemeni people’s steadfastness against their enemies.
The speeches called for concerted efforts to make the celebrations a success, particularly the central event on the 12th of Rabi’ al-Awwal. They also emphasized the deep place of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in the hearts of Yemenis and the spiritual significance of his birth anniversary as a source of inspiration for continued resilience.
The evening, attended by Zabid District Director Yahya Ubaid, Al-Mansuriyah District Director Amer Ali, Zabid Police Chief Mohammed Abu Hadi, along with executive leaders, scholars, and community figures, featured poetry and choral performances expressing the significance and importance of the occasion.
