Dhamar – Saba:
The Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring Center in Dhamar recorded a minor earthquake early this morning, measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale, about 52 kilometers southwest of the capital, Sana’a, at 5:28 AM.
The center also detected several distant and regional seismic events, including a 5.7 magnitude quake in Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula and a 3.7 magnitude tremor in Ethiopia.
Engineer Mohammed Al-Houthi, Director of the Seismology and Volcanology Center, confirmed that specialists are continuously monitoring and analyzing seismic activity locally, regionally, and globally around the clock.
