During his meeting today with the Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif, Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi reviewed the Ministry's activities, programs, and the implementation level of approved projects for the year 1446 AH, particularly in the water sector.
The meeting, attended by the Minister of Finance, Abdul-Jabbar Mohammed, focused on the Ministry's implementation of the emergency intervention plan in Hodeida Governorate, in addition to the implementation level of procedures for the National Renewable Energy Project.
The meeting also addressed the Ministry's plan for the year 1447 AH and the most important priority projects it includes in the electricity and water sectors.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of continuously developing the functional service roles of the Ministry and its affiliated service units, which are directly related to the daily lives of citizens.
He noted the various efforts and tasks implemented by the Ministry, particularly those related to the emergency plan in Hodeida Governorate and the National Renewable Energy Project.
Al-Rahwi pointed out the importance of focusing on renewable energy projects and continuing investment in this type of clean energy project.
In turn, the Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water reviewed the efforts of the ministry's leadership and employees in the electricity and water sectors and its affiliated entities in carrying out the tasks assigned to them, in implementation of the government's program for change and construction and the activities and programs included in the ministry's plan for the current year.
