The Resistance Committees in Palestine considered the Israeli Knesset's vote on Wednesday on a proposal calling for the imposition of Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank and the Jordan Valley, considering them part of the so-called "historical homeland of the Jewish people," to reveal the colonialist face and expansionist ambitions of the Zionist entity.
The committees said, in a press statement, that "the Israeli Knesset's vote on this criminal proposal confirms that the Zionist entity pays no attention to any treaties or agreements, and that the so-called Oslo Accords are nothing more than a means of gaining time to control Palestinian land, Judaize it, and expel its legitimate owners by force, amidst Arab and Islamic failure and official silence, and international hypocrisy."
The committees added, "The Zionist enemy's ambitions will not cease in the West Bank, Jerusalem, Gaza, our 1948 occupied territories, all Palestinian territories, and the entire region. This requires serious and effective action from all components of the Arab and Islamic nation, and unity to confront the criminal, expansionist Zionist project that targets us all."
They emphasized that "the support of the criminal US administration and its President Trump for the Zionist entity is what encourages the extremist Zionist right-wing forces within the entity to commit crimes and terrorism and to continue displacing and uprooting the Palestinian people from their land. They rely on this political, security, and military support to escape accountability in international forums."
The Resistance Committees called on the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the 1948 occupied territories to take the initiative and ignite a popular revolution and massive uprising to thwart the Zionist Judaization plans and to deter the Zionist enemy and restrain it from continuing and stabilizing its aggression against the Palestinian people and land.
