Rome - Saba:
Italian club Juventus has officially announced the permanent signing of Portuguese winger Francisco Conceicao, following the end of his loan period from Portuguese club Porto for the 2024-25 season.
The club announced in a statement on its official website late Tuesday evening that the 22-year-old player signed a five-year contract with the football team, ending in the summer of 2030.
The statement stated that Juventus agreed to pay the Portuguese club €30 million for the deal, with a further agreement with the player for other financial dues.
Conceicao's transfer is the Italian club's second this summer, following the signing of Canadian player Jonathan David on a free transfer.
Conceicao had an outstanding season with Juventus, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists in 40 appearances in the Italian League, Champions League, and Coppa Italia.
Conceicao played a significant role in Portugal's UEFA Nations League title victory after defeating Spain in the final last June.
Juventus finished fourth in Serie A last season and will begin their campaign on August 23 against Parma in the first round of the 2025-26 Italian Football League.
