Hamas Calls for Broadest Popular, Mass Movement in All Capitals, Cities of World

Doha - Saba:

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) called on the masses of the nation and all free people around the world on Wednesday for the broadest popular and mass movement in all capitals and cities of the world on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and the rest of the coming days, until the siege is broken and the famine in the Gaza Strip ends.

Hamas said in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba): "In light of the escalating crime of starvation and genocide perpetrated by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip, where people are dying from hunger and malnutrition, and famine is making its deadly presence felt in the faces of children, mothers, and the elderly, amidst a disturbing global silence and the absence of any action that rises to the scale of the catastrophe, we issue our appeal for besieged Gaza, for those suffering a slow death, and for a people fighting genocide with all their remaining breath."

She added: "Let the coming days be a resounding cry in the face of the Zionist enemy and a disgrace to those who remain silent. Let demonstrations, sit-ins, and angry marches be launched in front of the embassies of the Zionist enemy and American embassies, in public squares, on the streets, in universities, and across every media platform. Let the entire world chant: 'Stop the crime of starvation.'"

Hamas emphasized that what is happening in the Gaza Strip represents a watershed moment in the human conscience to support Gaza and stop the crime of genocide and starvation.

With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has continued to commit crimes of genocide in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of 59,106 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 142,511 others, as of yesterday, Tuesday, in a preliminary toll. Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulance and rescue crews.
