Tehran - Saba:
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed that his country is prepared for any Israeli military action, and that the claim of eliminating Iran's nuclear program is just an illusion.
Pzeshkian said last night in a special interview with Al Jazeera—his first television interview since the Israeli aggression on Iran last June—"Iranian forces are ready to strike deep inside Israel again," noting that Iran has struck deep inside the Israeli entity with force, and that Tel Aviv is concealing its losses.
The Iranian president added, "Israel is preventing any talk about the success of Iranian missile strikes, considering its request to stop the war to be very telling."
Pzeshkian explained that Israel wanted to dismantle Iran but failed to do so.
He emphasized that Iran does not want war and does not rely on the ceasefire being final, emphasizing that it will defend itself with force.
Pezeshkian stressed that Iran has not and will not surrender, explaining that it believes in diplomacy and dialogue.
Pzeshkian said, "Talk that Iran's nuclear program is over is just an illusion," adding, "Our nuclear capabilities are in the minds of our scientists, not in our facilities."
He added, "Tehran completely rejects the possession of nuclear weapons, and this is its political, religious, humanitarian, and strategic position."
Pzeshkian emphasized that any future negotiations with the United States must be based on a win-win situation.
He also affirmed that uranium enrichment on Iranian soil will continue in the future within the framework of international laws.
Pzeshkian considered that it had never before been the case that regional countries had taken such a supportive stance toward Iran as they did during the recent war.
He expressed Iran's readiness to formulate a concept of collective security with its Arab neighbors and the rest of the region, saying, "Iran has not attacked the State of Qatar and cannot do so," describing it as a sister country to his country.
Asked about the assassination attempt during the Israeli aggression, Pezeshkian said, "The incident is part of Israel's efforts to assassinate political leaders after military ones."
