Al-Mahwit - SABA:
A meeting in Al-Mahwit city today discussed the priorities of community initiatives in the sectors of roads, education, and water.
The meeting, attended by the educational sector official in the governorate, Ibrahim Al-Zain, the city district director, Ibrahim Al-Nasser, the representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in the governorate, Engineer Mukhtar Al-Turki, the head of the Agricultural Cooperative Association, Dr. Humayr Al-Harbi, and the association’s executive director, Jaber Al-Sha’thami, reviewed mechanisms to support and implement priority community projects, particularly paving the transportation street in the governorate center and providing cement and diesel supplies.
The meeting approved the preparation of a plan to revitalize community initiatives in various fields, working to provide cement for Bani Al-Sulayhi School, funding the construction of a classroom, and repairing the wall of Al-Shahid Ammar School.
The meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership between local authorities and cooperative associations in implementing service projects that meet citizens' needs and contribute to improving basic services in the district.
Following this, the participants reviewed the progress of the initiative to pave Beit Mounis Road.
Engineer Al-Turki affirmed the readiness of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit to provide cement in the coming days in support of the initiative.
