At dawn on Monday, Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids in several governorates of the occupied West Bank, resulting in the arrest of 11 Palestinian citizens and widespread destruction of their homes.
Palestine Online reported that forces stormed neighborhoods in the city of Tubas and arrested Musab Bahjat Sawafta and Muhammad Abu Sayyaj, after searching their homes and ransacking their contents. They also surrounded a house in the village of Tayaseer, east of the governorate, without recording any arrests there.
In Ramallah and al-Bireh, Israeli soldiers raided the al-Irsal neighborhood in al-Bireh and arrested a young man whose identity has not yet been determined. Ahmed Marwan Rayyan was arrested during a raid on his home in the city center.
In the Hebron Governorate, in the town of Halhul, Adel Ali Abu Rayyan, Saif Tayseer Abu Rayyan, Mustafa Ashraf Abu Rayyan, Ahmed Musa Abu Rayyan, Majd Amjad Younis, and Ibrahim Malik Al-Barbarawi were arrested after raiding several neighborhoods and searching families' homes. In Dura, the enemy arrested the wife of wanted man Mahmoud Al-Fasfous after raiding the family home, in a new attempt to pressure him to surrender.
This campaign is part of the enemy's ongoing policy of expanding the scope of arrests and night raids, with forces deliberately targeting relatives of wanted persons and prisoners, focusing on destructive searches inside homes and spreading terror among residents.
