German Foreign Minister Johan David Wadevol stated that Berlin will not be forced into solidarity with "Israel", criticizing the catastrophic conditions endured by Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip, which he described as "unbearable."

In a radio interview on Tuesday, he added: "It is unacceptable that the people of Gaza are deprived of food and medicine."

He continued: "We have now reached a point where we must carefully consider the next steps to address the unbearable situation in Gaza," without providing further details.
