Two UN officials called for pressure on the Israeli occupation to allow aid into the Gaza Strip, given the dire humanitarian conditions facing the population.
The UN Humanitarian Coordinator said in statements reported by Al Jazeera: "The needs are extremely great in the Gaza Strip, and aid must be delivered."
