The Lebanese Hezbollah party stated that the latest Israeli aggression against Yemen reaffirms that this enemy has not learned from the failures of its patron, the United States, which was unable to subdue Yemen, its people, and its leadership—and ultimately admitted its failure and was forced to end its aggression.
In a statement released Wednesday evening, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hezbollah affirmed that the Zionist enemy continues to escalate its lawlessness and brutal aggression against the peoples of the region—from Gaza to Lebanon and Yemen. The statement highlighted the horrific massacres being committed against the people of Gaza, the ongoing policy of starvation and genocide, the daily violations of Lebanese sovereignty, and most recently, the attack on Sana’a International Airport and the targeting of the last remaining civilian plane—an egregious violation of all international and humanitarian laws and conventions.
Hezbollah strongly condemned these barbaric Zionist attacks, stressing that such Israeli escalation would not have occurred without full American backing and the disgraceful silence of the international community.
The statement reiterated that the renewed aggression against Yemen confirms the enemy’s failure to learn from America’s experience, which could not bend the will of the Yemeni people and leadership and had to end its war reluctantly. It also noted that the Israeli enemy remains deluded, thinking it can achieve its futile goals of deterring the Yemeni people or pressuring them to abandon their steadfast support for the oppressed Palestinian people—who are enduring daily massacres, with the cries and suffering of their children, burned and starved, ignored by the world, and the sight of their torn and scattered limbs met with closed eyes.
Hezbollah added, “We express our great pride in the courageous, bold, and wise positions of the Yemeni leadership, and we reaffirm our full solidarity with the proud Yemeni people. This aggression will only increase their resolve, strength, courage, and determination to continue on their chosen path until the war of extermination ends and the siege on the people of Gaza is lifted.”
Hezbollah called for the highest levels of condemnation and denunciation from all free nations and peoples of the world and urged effective and impactful action to lift the unjust siege imposed on the dear Gaza Strip and noble Yemen.
The party also renewed its call on Arab and Islamic nations and peoples to stand by the dear Yemeni people and support their brave and honorable stance in support of Palestine and its steadfast people.
