Moscow - (Saba):
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday that its on-duty air defense systems destroyed 13 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over three regions during the past night.
According to a statement cited by Sputnik, the ministry said: “Between 21:15 Moscow time on May 3 and 05:15 on May 4, air defense alert systems destroyed 13 Ukrainian drones.”
The statement added: “Eleven of them were shot down over the Rostov region, and one each over the Belgorod and Bryansk regions.”
The Ukrainian armed forces continue to target Russian border areas—such as Crimea, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, and Voronezh—on an almost daily basis using drones and missiles.
For its part, the Russian forces continue their special military operation aimed at disarming Ukraine, eliminating threats posed to Russia’s security, and protecting civilians in the Donbas region.
