Abu Obaida, the spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, praised the missile launched by the Yemeni Armed Forces against the Zionist enemy, which directly hit Ben Gurion International Airport.
In a press statement on Sunday, Abu Obaida said, "Glory to Yemen, Palestine's counterpart, as it continues to challenge the most powerful forces of oppression and refuses to submit or be defeated despite the aggression it is subjected to. It escalates its attacks on the heart of the deformed Zionist entity, surpassing the most advanced systems in the world to accurately hit its targets."
He added: "May Allah guide your aim, bless your jihad, and accept your sacrifices. You are from us, and we are from you."
Eight people were injured on Sunday when a ballistic missile fell on Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied city of Jaffa (Tel Aviv).
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth quoted the Israeli ambulance service as confirming that the number of people injured by the Yemeni missile that fell on Ben Gurion Airport had risen to eight.
Israeli media reported that the explosion of the Yemeni missile at Ben Gurion Airport left a crater 25 meters deep.
Israeli Army Radio quoted a military source as saying: "The American THAAD and Israeli Arrow systems attempted to intercept the Yemeni missile but failed."
