Sana'a - Saba:

The summer courses and schools for the year 1446 AH are receiving direct attention and follow-up from the Revolutionary Leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the leadership of the local and executive authorities in the provinces. These schools play an effective role in instilling Quranic culture and strengthening the faith identity in the hearts of male and female students.

In light of the interest and follow-up of the leadership of the local and executive authorities in Sana'a province, the summer schools are proceeding with great enthusiasm and unprecedented activity, implementing various activities and programs across all summer schools in the districts, most notably Quran memorization and Quranic culture.

What distinguishes the summer activities for the year 1446 AH is the active participation of parents, who enroll their children in more than 1,682 schools and mosques, accommodating 134,993 male and female students. These include 111 model schools, with 14,749 male and female students. This is driven by their commitment to teaching their sons and daughters the Holy Quran, its memorization and recitation, Quranic culture, and utilizing the school vacation in ways that benefit them.

The summer courses primarily focus on raising awareness among students and young people about the seriousness of the current phase facing the nation, in light of the conspiracies hatched by the hegemonic and global powers led by America and Israel. These conspiracies, whether through soft or direct warfare, target the rising generations. This requires educating and fortifying them, and instilling a culture of awareness among them.

Summer courses provide an opportune opportunity to hone the talents and skills of male and female students in various fields, creating a Quranic generation committed to their faith identity, capable of confronting and overcoming enemy plots, and shaping the future of the nation in general and Yemen in particular.

In this regard, Sana'a governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi emphasized the importance of summer courses in stimulating the positive energies of young people and students, developing the concept of participation within them, and encouraging their contribution to serving their community and nation. These courses also prepare them spiritually and mentally, enhancing their role in various fields.

He pointed out that summer courses are a sound approach to raising awareness among rising generations about the seriousness of the current situation and the challenges facing the Arab and Islamic nation. They also outline clear guidelines for what future generations should be like.

Governor al-Hadi considered the summer courses an opportunity for students to receive faith-based lessons in knowing God Almighty in a simplified and correct manner, strengthening their connection to God Almighty and their trust in Him through knowledge and awareness.

He emphasized the local authority leadership's commitment to the success of the summer courses in various districts and the achievement of their objectives. He noted everyone's eagerness to review the activities and programs being implemented, identify difficulties, and develop solutions to ensure their success.

The Sana'a governor explained that the summer courses establish a qualified generation capable of facing life with high spirits, knowledge, and awareness, harnessing their energies and creativity in various scientific fields. He indicated that the enemies' annoyance with summer schools reveals the validity of the path the Yemeni people are following in establishing summer schools and courses.

He emphasized the need for concerted community efforts to support summer school activities and encourage students to enroll in them to benefit from their religious, cultural, social, and sports programs. He called on parents and guardians to encourage their children to take advantage of the remaining days of the summer courses, given their role in protecting young people from false cultures.

In turn, Deputy Governor for Education and Youth and Head of the Education Sector in the province Talib Dahan explained that preparations for the current year's summer schools and courses had begun well in advance, including the printing of the curriculum, holding workshops, and training supervisors and school principals.

He emphasized the importance of summer courses in preparing young people scientifically, morally, behaviorally, and culturally, particularly in improving their reading of the Holy Quran, the Prophet's hadiths and biography, Quranic culture, and theoretical and practical lessons in jurisprudence. He also emphasized improving reading and writing skills and discovering students' social skills.

He said, "The summer courses produce a generation that possesses awareness and insight, and that the enemy cannot recruit to its side. This generation has the ability to confront soft warfare and false cultures."

Dahan addressed the fierce media war waged by the enemies against summer courses, aimed at intimidating society from enrolling their children in them. He emphasized the interest of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the Government of Change and Construction in summer courses, arming students and young people with the Holy Quran and Quranic culture, and strengthening their faith-based identity.

Province's mobilization official Fayez al-Hanmi considered the summer courses an opportunity to purify the soul and elevate the spirit based on a faith-based approach that rejects hatred, envy, and malice.

He pointed to the momentum of this year's summer courses, with a variety of activities and programs that meet the needs and aspirations of young people and students in several areas, most notably the Holy Quran and its sciences, dhikr sessions, educational and scientific programs, sports and awareness activities, field visits to major archaeological and tourist sites, and cultural competitions in literature, poetry, chanting, and theater.

Al-Hanami emphasized the importance of the role of society and parents, and their sense of responsibility before God regarding the importance of summer courses and their benefits, as they contribute to protecting their children from the dangers of deviation and destructive ideas. This is especially true during this sensitive period, when enemies are attempting to target faith-based identity and are lying in wait for young people and youth in a serious attempt to separate them from their identity.

Director of the New Sana'a district Abdullah al-Marwani pointed out that summer courses are witnessing significant activity in various sciences, arts, activities, and events. At the same time, they have been a source of annoyance to enemies due to their importance and role in protecting young people and students from the dangers of their knowledge and media.

He said, "Summer courses have been subjected to a fierce war since the emergence of the Quranic Project. America even called for the fight and killing of Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the closure of summer activities aimed at protecting youth from deviance."

Al-Marwani explained that the importance of summer courses lies in their memorization, recitation, and intonation of the Quran, and the provision of knowledge of jurisprudence for those enrolled, in addition to the Prophet's biography and the Arabic language, as well as strengthening academic subjects.

He emphasized that the summer courses aim to enlighten generations about the importance of jihad and to enlighten them about the enemies of Islam, by creating a conscious generation armed with faith and trust in God.

Director of the Governorate's Youth and Sports Office, responsible for the Southern Sector, Abdul Mohsen al-Sharif, explained that the summer courses for the year 1446 AH are witnessing a wide turnout, despite the American, Israeli, and British aggression against Yemen.

He emphasized that the summer courses are a manifestation of steadfastness and perseverance, the necessity of which the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council realized early on.

Al-Sharif said, "The guidance, care, support, and follow-up provided by the leadership were at their highest levels, especially in light of the major battle Yemen is waging, a battle of awareness. The summer courses aim to reshape the awareness of the people of Yemen and instill in them the concepts of truth, freedom, pride, and dignity, to confront the media's deception machine and the soft war targeting their minds."

Al-Sharif pointed out that the summer courses are expected to yield positive results in protecting students from the dangers of the soft war and the conspiracies hatched by the enemy against the people of the nation.

He added, "On the educational side, there will be benefits in memorizing the Holy Quran and Quranic culture, acquiring skills and experience, increasing awareness and insight among our sons and daughters, embodying the brotherhood of faith, and discovering creativity, whether in sports activities, inventions, or otherwise."

Aziz al-Rajali, head of the governorate's technical education and vocational training sector, emphasized the importance of the summer courses in fortifying the youth with Quranic culture to confront the soft war targeting them.

He urged parents to care for their children, monitor their summer activities, and utilize the remaining days of the courses to benefit them academically, practically, educationally, culturally, and socially.

Al-Rajjali considered the summer courses a practical response to the Leader's call and his keenness to fortify children and youth with Quranic culture, given the enemy's attempts to tame this generation. He noted that the Leader of the Revolution is betting on the rising generation to be aware of the dangers of the conspiracies being hatched against the nation, targeting its faith, its children, and its youth, and corrupting them in various aspects.

Ali al-Jahmi, Operations Officer for the Governorate's Summer Activities Subcommittee, and Ali al-Mikhlafi, Director of Educational Media in the province, explained that the summer courses feature a variety of activities and programs to occupy the time of students of all age groups and contribute to developing their skills.

They explained that this year's summer plan includes activities that enable students to explore their strengths and weaknesses and enhance self-confidence. These activities include teaching the Holy Quran and Quranic culture, lessons in the Prophet's biography and jurisprudence, and cultural activities in the arts of theatrical performance, chanting, poetry, calligraphy, and drawing. These activities also include teaching public speaking skills, agricultural and sports activities, competitions, and recreational trips for those enrolled.

Summer courses and schools remain a spiritual, scientific, and cultural outlet for young people and students, enabling them to showcase their creativity, discover their skills, and develop their capabilities in various fields. This requires everyone to support and assist them in every way possible to ensure their success and fully achieve their goals.
