The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine described the Yemeni ballistic missile strike that targeted Ben Gurion Airport, deep inside the Zionist entity, as a "qualitative and extremely important development" in the context of the Yemeni response to the ongoing Zionist-American aggression against Gaza and Yemen.
The Popular Front affirmed in a press release on Sunday that "the operation constitutes a strong blow to the occupation and exposes the fragility of its air defenses, including the advanced American Arrow 3 and THAAD systems." It emphasized that "there is no safe place for the enemy, even in its most fortified and sensitive facilities."
It added that "the continued launching of missiles and drones from Yemen toward the heart of the entity, despite the American and British military escalation, reflects the failure of this aggression to limit Yemen's combat capabilities and confirms that Sana'a's will to confront has not diminished, but rather has grown stronger."
It considered that "this strike, which coincided with a qualitative operation carried out by the Palestinian resistance in Rafah, represents a true embodiment of the unity of the field, blood, and destiny between Gaza and Sana'a in confronting the Zionist imperialist project that targets the peoples of the entire region."
The Popular Front stressed that "the escalating regional responses, from Yemen to Gaza, are drawing a new equation confirming that the aggression will not pass without a cost, and that the people and their resistance forces are capable of imposing deterrence and open engagement on more than one front."
In the same context, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday that they had carried out a military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport in occupied Jaffa with a hypersonic ballistic missile.
Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni forces, said in a press statement: "This is a victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and a rejection of the crime of genocide being perpetrated by the Zionist enemy against our brothers in the Gaza Strip."
He added: "The missile force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation targeting Ben Gurion Airport in the occupied Jaffa region with a hypersonic ballistic missile, which successfully hit its target, thanks be to Allah."
