Tasnim International News Agency reported that Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, delivered a speech during the 14th Malek Ashtar Festival this morning, where he said that the IRGC was born as an intellectual miracle inspired by the bitter experiences of the early days of Islam, thanks to the vision of the late Imam Khomeini.

He added that the fighters on the borders represent solid pillars on which the country's security and reputation depend. He explained, saying: If our country enjoys peace in the midst of a sea of fire, it is due to the sacrifices of these fighters.

Major General Salami also stressed that the IRGC's infantry forces are the first to stand up to the enemies, adding: When our fighters enter the battlefield, the enemy flees.

The IRGC Commander-in-Chief explained that the sea is the "point of contact with the world", and stressed that the IRGC's naval forces are capable of fighting any enemy anywhere.

He commented on the statements of American officials who said that displaying part of the IRGC's naval force is enough to confront their entire naval force, stressing that this shows the power and ability of the IRGC at sea.

He also spoke about the IRGC's aerospace capabilities, explaining that the impact of this force appears at the same moment, and the enemy feels it everywhere. He added: "Today, we see that a small part of the power of this unit has been used, but it has been able to change the global equations and make it a fundamental challenge for us with the enemies."

He pointed out that the IRGC's missiles are capable of hitting any hostile target in the region and overcoming enemy missiles. He added that this force represents the basis of Iran's deterrent power, noting that this capability was proven in the confrontation with the American military base "Ain al-Assad" in Iraq. He spoke about the "Quds Force", saying: "This force has transferred the enemy from its strategic hideouts to the fields of operations, and built strength at all points. It also created strong havens for the oppressed, and distributed the enemy's energy in wide fields, which made it face gradual exhaustion."
