Muscat – Saba:
The Mufti of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, urged the resistance in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday not to surrender their weapons, which they use to defend their homeland against the crimes of the Israeli enemy. He emphasized that "no one will benefit the resistance if they abandon their arms, and they must adhere to the teachings of the Quran and remain steadfast through both the sweet and bitter decrees of fate."
In a post on his account on the "X" platform, Sheikh Al-Khalili stated: "It is astonishing that the people of Gaza are besieged by the enemy from all sides, which has spared no effort in attacking them with all kinds of deadly weapons and cutting off essential food and medical supplies necessary for survival. Yet, despite all this, we hear voices from some brothers demanding they surrender their weapons. How strange is this demand!"
He added: "Do these individuals not reflect on how the Quran warns Muslims against neglecting their weapons under any circumstances, and how it makes clear that this is what the disbelievers desire from them?" Questioning, "Where are these people from this Quranic warning?!"
