Sana’a – SABA:
A performance evaluation workshop organized by the Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) concluded today in Sana’a.
The three-day workshop, which brought together 40 participants including department directors, branch managers, and their deputies, aimed to assess performance across the company, its branches, and offices. The goal was to support the improvement and development of operations and ensure the continued delivery of services to citizens.
In his closing remarks, Acting Executive Director of YPC, Mohammed Al-Lukoumi, emphasized the importance of conducting regular performance evaluation workshops in line with developments in the sector. He stressed the need to enhance project completion rates and improve institutional performance and monitoring mechanisms.
Al-Lukoumi noted that the workshop is part of the YPC’s broader strategy to strengthen oversight and monitoring of petroleum service delivery.
The closing event was attended by Acting Deputy Executive Director Ali Al-Dhawrani, Deputy Executive Director for Financial and Administrative Affairs Osama Al-Khatib, Deputy for Technical Affairs Nasser bin Habtour, and Acting Deputy Executive Director for Commercial Affairs Abdulrahman Sanhoob.
Participants were honored with certificates of appreciation at the conclusion of the workshop.
