Dutch football club Ajax Amsterdam announced on Tuesday the signing of young Moroccan midfielder Abdellah Ouzzane on a new contract running until June 30, 2028.
In a statement, the club revealed that the deal was finalized after negotiations with Real Madrid fell through, where Ouzzane was initially expected to join the Spanish club’s reserve team.
The 16-year-old is known for his excellent vision, dribbling skills, and playmaking abilities. He will be part of Ajax’s Under-23 first team.
Ajax finished second in the Dutch Eredivisie last season with 78 points, just one point behind title winners PSV Eindhoven.
