Tulkarm - Saba:
The Zionist enemy forces continued their aggression on the city of Tulkarm and its camps for the 191st consecutive day today, Tuesday, and for the 178th day on the Nur Shams camp, amid military reinforcements and ongoing escalation.
The Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) reported that the enemy forces deployed military reinforcements today, including vehicles, fuel tankers, and water tankers, toward the city from its western and southern axes, specifically toward the military barracks they established inside several homes after forcibly evacuating their residents. These barracks are located on Nablus Street and in the northern and eastern neighborhoods, as well as in and around the two camps.
The agency mentioned that the city and its suburbs, particularly Dhanaba, Iktaba, and Al-Azb, are witnessing around-the-clock intensive movements by Zionist enemy vehicles and infantry patrols roaming the main streets. They deliberately obstruct the movement of vehicles and citizens by setting up flying checkpoints, conducting thorough inspections and identity checks.
The Zionist enemy forces continue to impose a strict siege on the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, preventing residents from entering to check on their homes, while pursuing them, firing live ammunition, and throwing sound grenades at them.
Last month, the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps were subjected to large-scale demolition operations targeting a significant number of residential buildings, as part of the Zionist enemy’s plan to demolish hundreds of homes whose owners were forcibly expelled, turning them into rubble, along with the burning of other houses.
The number of buildings completely demolished during the ongoing aggression has reached 1,000 residential units, with thousands more partially destroyed, in addition to the comprehensive destruction and sabotage of the remaining homes, amid the absence of any semblance of normal life in the two camps.
The escalation has led to the forced displacement of over 5,000 families from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, totaling more than 25,000 citizens, while the entrances to the camps remain blocked with barricades, turning them into lifeless zones.
The aggression has also resulted in the martyrdom of 14 citizens, including a child and two women—one of whom was in her eighth month of pregnancy—in addition to dozens of injuries and arrests, and widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, commercial shops, and vehicles.
