The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that Russian forces had liberated the town of Yanvarske in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Sputnik quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as saying in a statement: "Units of the East Group of Forces, as a result of their active and decisive actions, liberated the town of Yanvarske in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and targeted personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Donetsk People's Republic, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
The enemy's losses amounted to approximately 250 servicemen, combat vehicles, and several field guns."
The statement read: "Units of the West Group took control of superior lines and positions and targeted personnel and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Donetsk People's Republic and Kharkiv Oblast. The enemy's losses amounted to approximately 220 servicemen, combat vehicles, and several field guns. Two ammunition depots and seven electronic warfare stations were also destroyed."
The statement explained that "units of the Southern Group of Forces improved their tactical positions and targeted the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Donetsk People's Republic.
The enemy's losses amounted to approximately 210 servicemen, combat vehicles, and several field artillery pieces." The statement also explained: "Units of the Russian Center Group of Forces continued to advance deep into the enemy's defenses, inflicting human and material losses on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 375 servicemen, armored combat vehicles, and several field artillery pieces." The statement continued: "Units of the Russian Northern Group improved the situation along the front line and continued their advance deep into the enemy's defenses, inflicting human and material losses on the Ukrainian Armed Forces in several areas of the Sumy Oblast. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 225 servicemen, armored combat vehicles, several field guns, an electronic warfare station, and four ammunition and material depots."
"Russian operational-tactical aviation, attack drones, missile forces, and artillery damaged the infrastructure of a military airfield, production plants, drone storage depots, and a Ukrainian Armed Forces fuel station, as well as enemy manpower and equipment concentrations in 140 areas."
According to the statement, "Russian air defense systems shot down 146 Ukrainian drones."
