Gaza - Saba:
The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine considered the decision of the enemy's war criminal Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to invade and occupy the Gaza Strip an extremely dangerous step whose repercussions extend beyond the Palestinian arena to affect the entire region, especially neighboring Arab countries.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on Tuesday, the Front condemned the US President Donald Trump's welcome of this decision, considering it an explicit participation in expanding the brutal war against the Palestinian people and a prelude to displacement and colonization projects aimed at emptying the Gaza Strip of its population and separating it from the West Bank.
The Front emphasized that the decision represents a blatant challenge to international and Arab calls for an end to the war, a flagrant disregard for calls to halt the genocide and famine, and compliance with international resolutions calling for an end to the Israeli occupation and the recognition of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967, borders with Quds as its capital.
It emphasized the need to confront this Israeli-American scheme with a unified Palestinian position that goes beyond mere statements to practical steps, including a comprehensive review of the relationship with the entity, the implementation of the decisions of the National and Central Councils, and the strengthening of field unity in accordance with a comprehensive national vision.
The Front also called for urgent Arab action, including holding an extraordinary session of Arab foreign ministers to take deterrent measures to implement the outcomes of the Arab and Islamic summits, most notably breaking the siege on Gaza, halting the aggression, and withdrawing the occupation forces from the entire territory of the Gaza Strip.
