Hodeida - Saba:
The Local Council and Mobilization Department in al-Mansuriyah district of Hodeida governorate officially launched activities on Tuesday commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for the Hijri year 1447, under the slogan: “At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.”
During the event, District Director Amer Ali emphasized that commemorating this profound occasion reflects the deep love and connection to the Prophet Muhammad and embodies the faith identity upheld by the Yemeni people in the face of all forms of hegemony and arrogance.
He added that by observing this anniversary, the Yemeni people are sending a message of loyalty to the final Prophet and reaffirming their commitment to the major causes of the Islamic nation—foremost among them the Palestinian cause and the ongoing genocide in Gaza amid suspicious Arab and international silence.
For his part, Ashraf al-Rudaini, Deputy Head of the Education Sector in the district, underscored the importance of activating school programs and activities in honor of the Prophet’s birthday. He highlighted how such efforts instill prophetic values in younger generations and foster a sense of belonging and awareness of the nation’s issues.
Al-Rudaini also noted that the celebration is part of a broader revivalist project that restores the transformative role the Prophet brought to the nation—rooted in freedom, dignity, and justice, which represent the essence of the eternal Muhammadan message.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Scholars’ Unit in the district, Scholar Abdulbari al-Ahdal, described the event as a powerful spiritual and educational opportunity to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s noble biography and renew the commitment to follow his path in rejecting tyranny and supporting the oppressed.
He touched on the greatness of the occasion and its profound significance, especially in a time of deviation from the Prophet’s path, asserting that Yemen continues to uphold its Qur’anic message and the justice of its causes.
The event was attended by local government officials, community figures, and members of the education sector.
