Gaza – Saba:
The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Gaza issued an urgent appeal on Tuesday to the United Nations and humanitarian organizations for immediate assistance and intervention to supply fuel necessary for operating rescue machinery and equipment.
In a brief statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the directorate warned that “most rescue equipment across Gaza governorates has ceased responding to distress calls, placing the lives of thousands of Palestinian civilians at risk of death.”
With American and European support, the Israeli military has continued its genocidal campaign in Gaza since October 7, 2023. As of today, the onslaught has killed 61,020 Palestinian civilians—most of them women and children—and injured 150,671 others, according to non-final tallies. Thousands remain trapped under rubble or stranded in streets, unreachable by emergency teams due to the ongoing bombardment and severe fuel shortages.
