The Economic Empowerment Committee in the capital Sana’a province, chaired by governor Abdulbaset al-Hadi, reviewed on Tuesday implemented activities and outcomes of recent coordination with national economic bodies.
The meeting discussed ongoing studies for industrial and agricultural empowerment projects, including food processing, livestock, and training programs.
It approved the launch of a training plan for project managers and the formation of a committee to set selection criteria for administrative teams.
Governor al-Hadi stressed the importance of building local administrative structures and training targeted families to become self-reliant, boost local production, and support food security.
