Hodeidah - Saba:
The Local Council and Mobilization in Al-Sukhnah District, Al-Hodeidah Governorate, launched on Tuesday the activities commemorating the anniversary of the noble Prophet’s birth (Mawlid al-Nabi) for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan "Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah" (At Your Call, O Messenger of Allah).
During an expanded meeting on the occasion, speeches were delivered emphasizing that celebrating the birth of the Greatest Messenger is a profound spiritual milestone, reviving the biography of prophethood and reinforcing loyalty to Allah and His Messenger. The event also renews the commitment to adhere to the Holy Quran and emulate the finest example in jihad and patience.
The speeches highlighted that honoring this occasion stems from the greatness of the Prophet (PBUH), whom Allah sent as a mercy to all worlds, teaching humanity the values of justice, dignity, and freedom. Reviving the Prophet’s birthday is seen as a practical declaration of allegiance to the Muhammadan path in confronting tyranny, domination, and arrogance.
The speakers noted that this year’s Mawlid comes amid the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people and the continued criminal aggression on the Gaza Strip. This makes the commemoration a spiritual mobilization that strengthens the nation’s steadfastness and awareness of its central causes, foremost among them the Palestinian issue and the oppression of the vulnerable everywhere.
The speakers affirmed that the Yemeni people, while celebrating this occasion, reiterate their adherence to the noble values of Islam and reject all forms of subservience to puppet regimes that neglect the nation’s sanctities and remain passive in the face of occupation crimes.
They stressed the importance of combined official and community efforts to ensure the success of Mawlid activities across the villages and areas of the district, reflecting an advanced consciousness and sincere belonging to the Muhammadan message. A call was made for broad participation in the central and community events planned in the coming days.
The speakers emphasized that celebrating the birth of the Noble Prophet is not merely a ritual but an embodiment of a people’s identity, a continuation of a steadfast stance against injustice , aggression, and a fulfillment of an unbroken covenant with Allah and His Messenger—no matter how great the challenges.
