Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting was held on Tuesday in the capital Sana'a, chaired by the Acting Head of the Tax and Customs Authority, Dr. Ibrahim Mahdi, to discuss several topics related to infrastructure projects within the tax sector.
The meeting, which brought together members of the Tender Committee, reviewed both implemented and ongoing tax-related projects.
During the session, Dr. Mahdi emphasized the importance of integrating efforts to strengthen institutional work, enabling the Authority to achieve its strategic objectives and contribute to sustainable development.
He noted that success in the various aspects, foundations, and pathways of effective planning requires collective teamwork, guided by a scientific vision aligned with the general directives and objectives of the merger process.
Dr. Mahdi also highlighted the need to develop communication mechanisms and programs with taxpayers as key partners, while working to simplify and streamline tax procedures.
