GAZA August 26. 2024 (Saba) - A number of Palestinians were killed and injured Monday when Zionist forces bombed a school housing displaced persons in al-Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported to the Palestinian News Agency that occupation warplanes targeted al-Ezz bin Abdulsalam School, resulting in casualties among the displaced residents, including women and children.
Zionist artillery struck a house belonging to Jabr family near the Hassan Hamad Mosque in Mufti’s Land area, northern al-Nuseirat camp.
Artillery shelling also hit areas northwest of al-Bureij camp and western al-Maghraqa.
Zionist helicopters targeted the vicinity of al-Awda factory on Salah al-Din Street, eastern Deir Al-Balah.
Medical sources at the European Hospital eastern Khan Yunis reported the arrival of three bodies retrieved from the Al-Shawka area, east of Rafah.
Further attacks included the blowing up of residential areas and buildings west of Rafah, as well as artillery shelling of al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, in addition to the firing from Zionist vehicles.
Rescue and civil defense teams recovered the dead and injured from bombed homes, including those of al-Ajl family in al-Rimal neighborhood and Khalil family in al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Since the onset of the aggression on October 7, the number of martyrs in the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,405, with the majority being women and children, and 93,468 individuals wounded.
