NABLUS May 22. 2024 (Saba) - On Wednesday, Zionist settlers attacked with live ammunition Palestinian citizens in Asira al-Qibliya, south of Nablus, and set fire to village land.
According to local sources, settlers of the settlement of "Yitzhar", which is built on land south of Nablus, stormed the village of Asira al-Qibliya, attacked citizens, fired live bullets at them, tried to burn a house there, and set fire to areas of its land.
In another security development, the Zionist enemy forces erected today a military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Derastya, northwest of Salfit.
According to the Palestinian news agency, the enemy forces set up a military checkpoint on the alternative road used by citizens, searched vehicles and checked the personal identities of their passengers.
It is worth noting that the Zionist enemy forces have been closing the main entrance to the town for several months with earth mounds, and preventing citizens from passing through it.
