Israeli forces raid multiple towns in Tulkarm on 160th day of aggression

Tulkarm – Saba:
Israeli occupation forces raided several towns in the occupied Palestinian province of Tulkarm on Saturday, marking the 160th consecutive day of aggression against the city and its camp, and the 147th day against Nur Shams camp.

According to the official Palestinian News Agency, local sources reported that enemy vehicles stormed the towns of Anabta and Balaa east of Tulkarm, patrolled streets and neighborhoods, and stationed themselves at several intersections, obstructing the movement of vehicles and citizens.

Another military force raided the town of Seida north of the province, breaking into and searching several houses. They arrested freed prisoner Laith Wasef Al-Ashqar while he was inside a shop in the town center.

The Zionist incursion extended to the towns of Allar, Atil, and Deir Al-Ghusun, where enemy vehicles deployed in their main streets and neighborhoods amid heightened tension and alert.

Simultaneously, Tulkarm city and its suburbs witnessed the spread of enemy vehicles and infantry patrols, which roamed main streets—particularly Nablus Street, the city center, the eastern neighborhood, and the suburbs of Shweika and Iktaba—obstructing civilian and vehicular movement. The forces provocatively blared sirens, drove against traffic, and endangered civilians' lives.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continue to impose a strict siege on Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps and their surroundings, with infantry and military vehicles deployed in alleys and entrances, preventing residents from reaching their homes or inspecting their properties amid live gunfire targeting anyone approaching the area.

The occupation forces have turned Nablus Street into military barracks by seizing several residential buildings, along with parts of the city’s northern neighborhood—particularly areas opposite Tulkarm camp and sections of the eastern neighborhood near the camp—after forcibly displacing residents. Some areas have been under enemy control for over four months, accompanied by the deployment of heavy vehicles and bulldozers.

Nablus Street, which connects Tulkarm and Nur Shams camps, has suffered significant damage due to earthen berms erected by occupation forces months ago. Their heavy presence, along with sudden flying checkpoints, further obstructs movement and exacerbates citizens' suffering.

The ongoing aggression has so far resulted in the martyrdom of 14 citizens, including a child and two women—one of whom was eight months pregnant—along with dozens of injuries and arrests. It has also caused widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles.

The escalation has forcibly displaced over 5,000 families (more than 25,000 citizens) from the two camps, with 600 homes completely destroyed and 2,573 partially damaged, while entrances remain blocked by berms, turning the camps into near-deserted areas.
