Dhamar Security Department organized a cultural event commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, under the slogan “Humiliation is far from us.”
Participants emphasized the importance of learning lessons from his revolution in confronting tyrants and supporting the oppressed. They considered what is happening in Gaza an extension of the Karbala tragedy.
Speakers emphasized that Imam Hussein represents a symbol for the entire nation, not just a specific sect, calling for adherence to his principles in resisting injustice and deviation.
The event included a poem recited and was attended by a number of leaders and officers of the governorate’s security services.
