Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc clocked the fastest time in the third free practice session at the British Grand Prix on Saturday, part of the Formula 1 World Championship.
The Monegasque driver outpaced his rivals with a lap time of 1:25.498, edging out McLaren’s Australian driver Oscar Piastri, who finished second, just 0.068 seconds behind. Red Bull’s Dutch driver Max Verstappen secured third place, trailing by 0.087 seconds.
British driver Lando Norris of McLaren took fourth place, 0.108 seconds off the pace, followed by Japan’s Yuki Tsunoda of Red Bull in fifth, **0.606 seconds behind Leclerc.
The main race is scheduled for Sunday at the iconic Silverstone Circuit, which spans 5.891 kilometers.
This race marks the 12th round out of 24 in the 2024 Formula 1 season, reaching its midpoint as the British Grand Prix kicks off tomorrow.
