The Saraya al-Quds – Jenin Battalion, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, announced that its fighters were able to detonate an explosive device at a military checkpoint manned by Israeli forces in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, at dawn on Saturday.
The Jenin Battalion said in a statement "Our fighters were able, in the early hours of dawn today, to detonate a highly explosive, pre-prepared Sejil-type guided explosive device at a Zionist military point at the Salem military checkpoint."
This operation comes in response to the attacks and violations perpetrated by Israeli enemy forces against the Palestinian people in the West Bank, which have claimed the lives of more than a thousand martyrs in various areas of the West Bank since October 7, 2023.
