HODEIDA, Jan. 23 (Saba) – Officials of Hodeida province received on Monday documents to obtain four cranes granted from the World Food Programme (WFP).
The cranes are in their way to the port.
Hodeida governor Hasan al-Hejj said that the new cranes would positivity contribute to overcome economical problems that were caused by all-out blockade imposed by by the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.
The previous cranes were destroyed in a series of airstrikes by the Saudi aggression warplanes.
Meanwhile, Ramiro Lopes Da Silva, Assistant Executive Director of the World Food Programme emphasized the urgent need to provide those cranes to activate the work of the port and facilitate the entry of urgent food to help the Yemeni people.
