Ibb - Saba:
Cultural seminars were held in the province of Ibb, across the districts of Adh Dhahar, Al Mashnah, and Hazm Al Udayn, to commemorate the honorable migration of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
The seminars, presented by a selection of cultural cadres from the Guidance Offices, addressed the lessons , morals to be learned and applied in relation to the Hijrah anniversary. They emphasized the importance of continuously highlighting these lessons and clarifying their significance and benefits in transforming the state of the Ummah, strengthening its unity, cohesion, and faith.
The discussions underscored the importance of reviving this occasion as an exceptional event that had positive outcomes for the Ummah then and continues to do so today. They reviewed the pivotal moments and transitions that led the Greatest Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) to migrate to Medina, which later marked the beginning of the Islamic calendar.
The speeches summarized the key challenges and hardships faced by Muslims before the Hijrah, including fierce opposition from the leaders of disbelief in Mecca, and the impact on their morale. They explained how the core of the Islamic state began to take shape after the migration to Medina, serving as the foundation for the Islamic state that would later govern vast regions.
