Hajjah – Saba:
A meeting held on Monday in Hajjah governorate, chaired by governor Hilal al-Sufi, reviewed on the implementation mechanism for upcoming construction projects of the Executive Communications Unit.
The meeting brought together key local officials, including Secretary-General of the Local Council Ismail al-Muhaim, Hajjah undersecretary Mohammed al-Qadhi, and Director of the General Telecommunications Corporation branch Sami al-Khatib.
Discussions focused on the Corporation's ongoing efforts to maintain and repair roads affected by previous cable and fiber optic expansion projects, aimed at enhancing communication services for citizens.
Also in attendance was Engineer Abdullah al-Haddad, Director of the Engineering Unit, who reviewed the Corporation’s construction plans for the coming period.
Governor al-Sufi praised the efforts of the Telecommunications Corporation in expanding and improving services that meet public needs and elevate the quality of internet and communication infrastructure.
He stressed the importance of coordination with relevant authorities to repair road damages caused by previous projects and called for prior approval from the Engineering Unit before initiating new works.
Director Sami al-Khatib emphasized the need for continued collaboration with local authorities to facilitate smooth implementation, expressing appreciation for the governorate leadership’s support in addressing challenges and advancing project progress.
