London - Saba:
Italian tennis star Jannick Sinner maintained his position as the world No. 1 in the latest ATP rankings released on Monday, marking his 56th consecutive week at the top.

This comes ahead of his participation in the upcoming Wimbledon Championships.

The top 10 rankings remained unchanged, with Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, the defending Wimbledon champion for the past two seasons, holding the No. 2 spot. He was followed by Germany’s Alexander Zverev in third and Britain’s Jack Draper in fourth.

American Taylor Fritz and Serbia’s Novak Djokovic secured the fifth and sixth positions, respectively, trailed by Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti in seventh and Denmark’s Holger Rune in eighth. Russia’s Daniil Medvedev and American Ben Shelton rounded out the top 10, according to Anadolu Agency.

In the WTA rankings, Poland’s Iga Świątek jumped four places to claim the No. 4 spot after reaching the final of the Bad Homburg Open in Germany, despite losing the title to American Jessica Pegula.

Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka retained her No. 1 ranking for the 35th consecutive week, while Americans Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula held the second and third positions, respectively.

Italy’s Jasmine Paolini and China’s Zheng Qinwen each dropped one spot to fifth and sixth, while American Madison Keys fell two places to eighth. Spain’s Paula Badosa and American Emma Navarro completed the top 10, securing the ninth and tenth positions, respectively.
