San‘a – Saba:

The ceasefire agreement between the Israeli entity and Iran marks an extraordinary victory for Tehran and affirms that military power alone can bring victory, dwarf the enemy, and force it into retreat—after once presenting itself as an invincible army.

Before the ceasefire announcement, Iran launched successive rocket barrages toward the occupied Palestinian territories, causing dozens of deaths, injuries, and disappearances, as well as widespread destruction over a large area. Meanwhile, the Israeli enemy had targeted residential homes and civilian areas in the capital Tehran, where several martyrs and injuries were reported.

The best description of the fierce Iranian missile attacks and the extensive devastation in the occupied territories this morning came from Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who said: “This morning undoubtedly left bitterness in the hearts of Israelis.”

Earlier on Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that “a ceasefire agreement has been reached between the Israeli entity and Iran,” as he put it.

Israeli enemy radio reported that Netanyahu informed his extremist cabinet ministers of the ceasefire agreement with Iran and instructed them not to make any public statements.

A statement from Iran’s Supreme National Security Council described this as a “divine victory, the result of popular awareness, the jihad of the mujahideen, and the wise leadership of the Imam,” which forced the enemy to retreat, admit defeat, and unilaterally halt its attacks.

The statement added:

“In this context, the Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council informs the brave and great Iranian people that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran remain on full alert, with their fingers on the trigger, ready to deliver a decisive and painful response to any possible act of aggression.”

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed via his account on the platform “X” that “the operations of the powerful Iranian armed forces continued punishing the Israeli entity for its aggression until the last moment—until 4:00 a.m.”

Reuters reported that Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani secured Iran’s approval for the U.S.-proposed ceasefire during a phone call with President Trump.

As part of “Operation Bushra al-Fath” (Good News of Victory), the Iranian Revolutionary Guard targeted the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with a powerful missile strike in response to American airstrikes early Sunday on three American nuclear sites.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that if “Israel” and Iran have indeed reached a ceasefire agreement, it is a welcome development. He expressed hope it would be a lasting truce.

In a press statement commenting on the ceasefire, Peskov said:

“This is what Russia has been calling for since the beginning of the conflict. Therefore, this development should be welcomed, and we hope it marks a permanent ceasefire. From the start, we have urged for military solutions to be ruled out, and for unwarranted attacks against sovereign states such as Iran to be avoided. Issues should be resolved politically and diplomatically.”

Responding to a journalist’s question, Peskov confirmed that no discussion took place regarding any potential Iranian military retaliation to U.S. strikes during the meeting between President Vladimir Putin and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. He said:

“Araghchi did not inform Putin of any plans for Iranian attacks on U.S. bases.”

Peskov also clarified that the Reuters report claiming Araghchi delivered a message from Supreme Leader Khamenei to Putin was fundamentally inaccurate and inconsistent with reality.

He affirmed that Russia supports Iran’s clear stance on the Middle East situation and intends to continue developing its relationship with Tehran.

Mohammed Abdul Salam, spokesman for Ansar Allah, stated:

“We salute Iran—its leadership, people, and army—for waging the 12-day war with strength, courage, and determination, with great sacrifices. That is the price of independence, freedom, and principled positions on the Palestinian cause.”

He added:

“Iran, among the first Islamic countries and with its own arsenal, faced off against an enemy armed with the latest Western weaponry. The battle was not only with Israel, which serves as an advanced American outpost, but also with the United States and other Western nations that stood by the aggressors.”

He continued:

“Iran’s steadfast commitment to its peaceful nuclear rights and principled stances proves the enemy has failed to achieve its declared goals. Its crimes against scientific and military personnel and attacks on various facilities will not deter Iran from claiming its legitimate rights.”

He concluded:

“What can protect the sovereignty of the region’s states and restore their dignity is for them to move beyond internal disputes, unite on common ground, and realize that they are all threatened by an entity America uses as a blunt instrument to strike any nation that seeks power, dignity, and independence.”
