YPC : Arrival of ship to Hodeidah port carrying thousands tons of diesel, gasoline
[Sun, 05 May 2019 13:08:19 +0300]

ANAA, May 5 (Saba) - The Yemen Petroleum company (YPC) on Sunday confirmed the arrival of a ship carrying tons of oil derivatives to the port of Hodeidah late on Saturday after being detained by the US-saudi coalition of aggression and their mercenaries for 35 days.

The company said in a statement obtained by the Yemeni news agency (Saba) that ship is carrying 1000.4 tons of gasoline and 110.17 tons of diesel.

It pointed out that this ship is the fourth to reach the port of Hodeidah since it was announced to allow four oil vessels to enter the port on 18 April last.

The statement pointed out that the ship's cargo of gasoline is the lowest shipment entered from the total quantities loaded on vessels that are still detained by the coalition of aggression, estimated to 66.993 tons.

The Petroleum company said that the forces of aggression and the so-called economic commission of Aden deliberately delay the entry of ships in order to increase the suffering of citizens and tighten the screws on them despite the urgent needs of petroleum materials, especially with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.

The company also confirmed that it has prepared the effective rationing programs to distribute the consignment in accordance with the real needs of the local market and to take the necessary supervisory measures to ensure the continuity of providing service to citizens and maintaining the ration stability in the coming days.
