ANAA, May 3 (Saba) - The National competition for Entrepreneur of the Innovative projects kicked off on Thursday with the participation of 300 competitors from the various provinces of the Republic, where the activities will continue until the end of Ramadan month and be broadcast via Yemen satellite channel.

The competition is being carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Trade under the patronage of the President, Mahdi al-Mashat, in order to motivate the creators to provide alternatives to the requirements of construction and development and overcome the repercussions of the massacres by the US-saudi coalition aggression committed in country.

The general director of small industries in the ministry Younis Alsoswa told Saba news agency that the registration period has expired and the number of applicants has exceeded three hundred competitors, who will compete in three stages until the end of Ramadan.

He said that the competition of the Yemeni innovator will be broadcast throughout the holy month on Yemen satellite channel.

In the first stage, the participants will participate in the tripartite competition, where 75 of them going up to the second stage and then 10 projects should be honored by the Ministry with encouraging prizes.

The jury, headed by the Dean of Yemeni Inventors Mohammed Al-Afifi, includes the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Sanaa University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, to evaluate the competing inventions scientifically and the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ibb, Dr. Hatem Al-Daeis for technical evaluation.

The committee also includes the Executive Director of Microfinance Fund Ahmed Hamza to evaluate feasibility studies for competing projects.
