Sa'ada - Saba:
Sa'ada Governor Mohammed Awad, accompanied by Dr. Ismail Al-Warfi, head of the Republican Hospital Authority, inaugurated the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit at the hospital on Saturday.
The project, funded by the Enmaa Development Foundation at a cost of $1.2 million, marks a significant advancement in healthcare services in the region.
During the inauguration ceremony, attended by Deputy Governor Saleh Fadil, Governor Awad noted that the opening of the MRI unit coincides with the commemoration of the Prophet’s Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi).
He emphasized that the establishment of the unit had long been a dream for the people of Saada and has now become a reality, alleviating the suffering of residents who previously had to travel for such medical services.
Governor Awad described the inauguration of the MRI unit at the Republican Hospital as a qualitative leap and an achievement that adds to the advanced medical equipment provided to the authority, thanks to the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership.
For his part, Dr. Al-Warfi, head of the Republican Hospital Authority in Sa'ada, stated that the launch of the MRI unit aligns with the authority’s efforts to enhance integrated medical services in the province, reducing the burden on citizens who previously had to travel to Sana’a for such diagnostics.
He expressed his appreciation to the Yemen Enmaa Development Foundation for its support of the MRI unit and to all those who contributed to the success of the project.
