Mahwit - Saba:
The Education Sector in Al-Mahwit province organized a ceremony on Saturday to honor the top-performing students in the Basic and Secondary Education Certificate examinations. The event was held by Al-Awael Modern Private Schools in coordination with the Education Office in Al-Mahwit city.

The ceremony was attended by the governorate’s deputies, Hussein Arkaz and Abdulsalam Al-Thamari. Ibrahim Al-Zain, the head of the education sector in the governorate, congratulated the students for achieving outstanding results in their exams.

He praised their success as a remarkable accomplishment, made possible through the efforts of the educational sector and parents, despite the exceptional challenges posed by aggression and blockade.

Al-Zain emphasized that the honoring ceremony reflects the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research’s commitment to nurturing talented and high-achieving students, as well as its dedication to motivating excellence. He also commended the families of the students and the role of Al-Awael Schools in supporting education and fostering activities that encourage healthy competition.

Additionally, he acknowledged the efforts of educational and administrative staff in successfully concluding the previous academic year and launching the new 1447/2025-2026 school year, which has seen smooth progress and active participation across schools.

Meanwhile, Malik Al-Shakhthi, the education sector official in Al-Mahwit city, highlighted the importance of honoring the students, who represent a model of determination and diligence despite the challenges facing the nation.

Attendees praised the efforts of the students who achieved top rankings at both the national and governorate levels, attributing their success to their ability to turn challenges into achievements.

Following the speeches, the governorate’s deputies, Al-Thamari and Arkaz, along with education official Al-Zain, honored the outstanding students with certificates, cash prizes, and laptops in recognition of their academic excellence.
