Ibb - Saba:
The Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment in Ibb Governorate launched an awareness campaign on Saturday to boycott American goods and products from companies that support the Zionist entity.
The 10-day campaign aims to educate business owners, distributing posters and brochures urging the activation of boycotts as an effective weapon against the Zionist enemy, which commits the most horrific atrocities against the Palestinian people.
During the inauguration, Qassim Al-Masawi, the governorate’s deputy for industry and trade affairs, emphasized that the campaign follows the directives of the Supreme Political Council and aligns with Yemen’s supportive stance toward the Palestinian people.
He highlighted the campaign’s importance in empowering society to take practical stances against the Zionist-American enemy and its brutal crimes in Gaza. Al-Masawi praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and their resistance amid Arab and Islamic inaction, considering the U.S. a key partner in the war crimes and genocide committed by the occupying entity.
He called for the continued boycott of American and Israeli goods, stressing the religious, moral, and humanitarian duty to support Palestine and confront U.S.-Israeli aggression.
Hussein Sharif, Director of the Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment in Ibb, stated that the campaign reflects growing popular and official support for the Palestinian cause. He noted that the campaign includes distributing awareness materials and posters to businesses across the governorate.
Sharif described the boycott as a crucial form of resistance, urging its expansion across all segments of society. He warned that American goods would be confiscated and destroyed from shops and companies after the presidential deadline of three months.
Meanwhile, Fadl Al-Zubaidi, Deputy Director of the Economic Office, urged merchants to quickly dispose of American goods before the deadline and shift to alternative products. He emphasized the role of media and social media in promoting boycott culture and reinforcing religious responsibility toward the central cause of the nation—Palestine.
