Dhamar - Saba:
Staff members of Dhamar General Hospital organized a protest on Saturday denouncing the genocide and systematic starvation crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Participants in the protest, led by the hospital’s director, Dr. Hamoud Al-Moushki, condemned the atrocities and brutal siege imposed on Palestinians in Gaza, demanding that Israeli occupation leaders be held accountable for their aggression, starvation policies, and extermination of civilians in the Strip.
They called for the immediate and unconditional entry of infant formula, nutritional supplements, medicines, medical supplies, and medical teams into Gaza, urging the opening of crossings without restrictions.
A statement issued during the protest denounced the policy of deliberate starvation in Gaza, which surpasses the brutality of Nazism and fascism, emphasizing that what is happening in Gaza constitutes an organized war crime committed in front of the world—a world that claims to uphold freedom, justice, and human rights.
The statement noted that thousands of Palestinians have been martyred due to hunger or genocide in what has been termed "death traps," while thousands more face a similar fate amid severe shortages of food, milk, and medicine. It warned that daily, Palestinians are at risk of imminent mass death due to the complete absence of infant formula and nutritional supplements, alongside the continued closure of crossings and denial of basic necessities.
The statement highlighted that hospitals and health centers have recorded a daily surge in hundreds of life-threatening acute malnutrition cases, with no capacity to respond or treat patients due to the collapse of Gaza’s health sector and the lack of medical and nutritional resources.
It held the U.S. administration fully responsible for the war of starvation and systematic genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza, as Zionist aggression escalates and the blockade persists, preventing food, medicine, and humanitarian aid from entering. The statement urged all Arab and Islamic nations, as well as freedom-loving people worldwide, to take urgent action, escalate popular solidarity movements, and expose these shameful, organized crimes—among the most horrific of the modern era.
The statement also appealed to Arab and Islamic communities to take serious and effective steps to break the criminal siege imposed by the Zionist enemy on Gaza, calling for urgent international intervention to halt these crimes of genocide and starvation.
