Al-Hodeidah – SABA:
Students from schools in the Al-Husseiniyah area of Bayt Al-Faqih District, Al-HodGovernorate, staged a mass march today in solidarity with Gaza and in condemnation of the systematic genocide and starvation crimes committed by the U.S.-Israeli enemy there.
Led by the district’s educational sector head, Abduh Jazouri, along with several school principals, teachers, and education officials, participants carried banners and chanted slogans denouncing the killings, siege, and forced displacement inflicted on the people of Gaza. They affirmed the educational sector’s ongoing support for the Palestinian people and fighters in Palestine.
Participants condemned Arab and international silence over the atrocities in Gaza, stressing that Yemen’s popular and educational stance will remain steadfast and active in defending the Palestinian cause until the occupation is defeated and the Zionist entity ceases to exist.
A statement issued during the march denounced the continued crimes of the U.S.-Israeli enemy, including the deliberate use of starvation and displacement as weapons, under the gaze of the world. It also decried the silence of Arab and Islamic regimes and the inaction of the international community.
The statement called on students, universities, and educational institutions across the Arab and Islamic world, as well as all free people, to break their silence and take concrete actions to condemn these crimes against the Palestinian people.
It welcomed the Yemeni Armed Forces’ announcement of the fourth phase of escalation against Israel, affirming support for targeting any companies or interests still dealing with the Zionist entity, describing it as the greatest threat to humanity in modern times.
The statement also emphasized the importance of economic boycotts as an effective tool to weaken the economy of Israel and its Western allies, renewing allegiance to the leader of the revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and pledging to continue organizing student activities and rallies in support of Gaza and Palestine.
