Moscow – Saba:
The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Sunday that the Russian army has taken control of the towns of Piddubne in the Donetsk People's Republic and Sobolyevka in Kharkiv Oblast.

In a statement, the Russian Defense Ministry said: "Units of the Russian 'West' group of forces successfully liberated the town of Sobolyevka in Kharkiv Oblast following decisive actions."

The statement added: "As a result of active and decisive operations by units of the Russian 'East' group of forces, the town of Piddubne in the Donetsk People's Republic was liberated. Ukrainian armed forces' personnel and equipment were targeted in several areas of the Donetsk People's Republic and Zaporizhzhia Oblast, with enemy losses amounting to approximately 190 troops, combat vehicles, and several field artillery pieces."

The ministry continued: "Units of the Russian 'Center' group of forces advanced deeper into enemy defenses, inflicting personnel and material losses on Ukrainian armed forces in several areas of the Donetsk People's Republic and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The Ukrainian military lost over 390 troops, armored combat vehicles, and several field guns."

The Russian Defense Ministry further stated that "the 'North' group of forces improved their positions along the front line in Sumy Oblast, targeting Ukrainian personnel and equipment in several areas of Sumy and Kharkiv Oblasts. Enemy losses reached about 175 troops, combat vehicles, and several artillery pieces, in addition to the destruction of an ammunition depot."

The ministry also reported that "Russian tactical aviation, attack drones, missile forces, and artillery struck Ukrainian military airfield infrastructure, production facilities, drone storage depots, a fuel station, and enemy troop and equipment concentrations in 141 locations."

According to the statement, "Russian air defense systems intercepted six guided aerial bombs and 298 Ukrainian drones."

The statement noted that "the Russian Black Sea Fleet destroyed three unmanned boats in the Black Sea."
