Sana'a - (Saba):

I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the outcast.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Praise is to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. I believe that there is no god but Allah, the Sovereign and the Manifest Truth, and that Muhammad, our master, is His servant, Messenger, and Last Prophet.

O Allah! Confer Your salat and blessings upon Muhammad and the Family of Muhammad as You conferred Your salat and blessings upon Ibrahim and the Family of Ibrahim. You are Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory! And be pleased with Muhammad's good companions and all Your righteous servants and mujahidin.

Brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

In our speech this week on the ongoing developments of the brutal and criminal Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian people more broadly, and the wider Arab and Islamic world, we will discuss these several key points in some detail, offering commentary from the standpoint of our jihadist and responsibility-based position regarding these events.

For the past 21 months and under the watchful eyes of Muslims across the Arab world and beyond, and in full view of the entire world, the criminal Zionist Jewish enemy has continued its campaign of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. It has relentlessly targeted displaced persons’ shelters and camps, along with the schools and other facilities where they had sought refuge. These attacks have come in the form of airstrikes, artillery bombardment, and drone assaults. According to data released by the Government Office in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli enemy committed 26 massacres within a span of just 48 hours. These atrocities claimed the lives of more than 300 martyrs and left hundreds of the Palestinians injured—many of them women and children. All the victims were unarmed civilians, not engaged in any form of confrontation. They were displaced people in their camps.

The Israeli enemy continues its assault with a level of savagery, brutality, and criminality so extreme that it lays bare its true nature. If the bloodthirsty Zionists and their murderous American partners were wild beasts—hyenas or rabid dogs, for instance—they might have grown tired of tearing apart the flesh of the people in the Gaza Strip. But these killers, criminals, and beasts have surpassed even those animals in sheer monstrosity. The deeper they wade into the blood of women and children, the more their appetite grows, driving them to devise increasingly horrific methods of killing and extermination.

It also exposes the reality of the West, which has backed this criminal entity and enemy since day one, ever since its formation as armed gangs. The West supported it to play a functional role—the very same criminal role it continues to play against the Palestinian people and against our Ummah as a whole: genocide, killing, destruction, occupation, violation of holy sites, pursuit of domination over this Ummah and the occupation of its lands, and imposing a reality of unchecked aggression.

This is the functional role the West intended for the Israeli enemy—a role it has supported and continues to support. Western countries have backed it since the very beginning, and still do so intensively, to carry out this aggressive, destructive role in line with the Zionist agenda. The Zionist scheme is well known, as is the threat it poses to our Islamic Ummah as a whole.

The Israeli enemy is really this bad. Its persistence in mass murder, injustice, criminality, and increasingly grotesque forms of crimes is also clear proof that so-called international institutions (such as the United Nations, the Security Council, and others) can never be counted on to support any oppressed or downtrodden people, whose rights have been stripped away—no matter the scale or duration of the crimes and oppression. These institutions can do nothing for any people or nation—neither the scale of the crime and injustice nor the length of time it has persisted makes any difference. The Palestinian cause is a testament to this: over a century of oppression since the British occupation and more than 70 years under Zionist-Jewish control, yet the crimes have only intensified, the injustices have worsened, the ambitions of the occupiers have grown, and the accumulated suffering has reached unimaginable levels. What have these international institutions managed to provide in response? Therefore, placing any reliance on it; taking it into account in any assessments, calculations, or policies; or basing positions on it is a grave mistake—one that leads the Ummah astray without achieving any result.

One can also consider our reality as a Muslim ummah. This injustice, oppression, and tragedy unfolding before the very eyes of Muslims—who are capable of doing a lot about it—should never be accepted by Muslims, since they are expected to embody the highest standards of human values and religious principles, by virtue of their affiliation with Islam, their recitation of the Quran, which they believe to be the Word of Allah, and their emulation of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&F), along with all prophets and messengers. However, many of them remain mere spectators, indifferent and passive, while some even go so far as to collude and cooperate with the enemy.

The scale and prolonged duration of Zionist-Jewish criminality against the Palestinian people and this genocide that has continued for twenty-one months with all numerousforms of crimes committed by the Israeli enemy, clearly reveal these three truths:

  • For five months, the Israeli enemy's aggression has intensified across the West Bank, with widespread destruction—especially in the refugee camps of Jenin, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams.
  • Over forty thousand Palestinians have been forcibly displaced from these camps, enduring immense hardship, and the enemy is striving to prevent their return.
  • Also, the settlement outposts—where the Israeli enemy seizes vast tracts of land and which are planned to be structured in a way that ensures total control over the West Bank—present a significant issue, and it continues with that. Recently, it has announced about new outposts, where additional sites are appropriated as part of the strategy for complete domination.
  • All types of crimes persist in the West Bank at the hands of the Israeli enemy—daily killings, intensive abductions, bulldozing, and demolition.
  • Additionally, herds of usurpers engage in vile criminal practices—looting, theft, burning of crops, uprooting of olive trees, and attacks on livestock through killing, theft, or even torching—thus, perpetuating every conceivable form of crime.
  • The Israeli enemy continues to sever Palestinian cities and towns with barriers and walls.
  • It occupies entire homelands.
  • It destroys swathes of property and loots abundantly.
  • It desecrates what is most sacred—burning and shredding copies of the Holy Quran, demolishing mosques, and violating the sanctity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
  • It commits genocide and the most grotesque of crimes.
  • either to accept surrender, humiliation, and a status quo of unchecked violation;
  • or take a stand and confront this aggression.

It is a dangerous reality because the Ummah is neglecting a great and sacred duty, which calls for divine punishment, as emphasised in the Quran, both in this world and the Hereafter. The danger also stems from the greedy ambitions of the enemies, whose greed will only be emboldened by what they witness in our Ummah: passivity, apathy, fragmentation, frailty, and indifference to events that are unspeakably horrific.

Many dreadful atrocities are committed against this Ummah and target its religion and sanctities: The Zionist Jews burn the book of Allah, the Holy Quran, and tear it apart, heap vile insults upon the Seal of Allah’s Prophets, the Messenger Muhammad (PBUH&F), and violate the sanctity of sacred sites, destroying mosques and desecrating the Al-Aqsa Mosque. At the same time, they commit genocide against a people who are part of this Ummah. They also excel in perpetrating various kinds of extremely horrific and grotesque forms of criminality in a highly brazen and provocative manner, reflecting their hatred, vileness, and depravity, as well as their complete bankruptcy of any human values. In addition toall of this, they occupy the lands of this Ummah and target its peoples. Furthermore, they explicitly and clearly announce their intentions, orientations, and agendas not only for Palestine but also for other countries of the Ummah.

Despite all of that, many people from this two-billion-strong Muslim Ummah have failed to take any meaningful position whatsoever: They have no position at all! This reveals the alarming reality of this Ummah. It signifies a severe decline in human values. What has become of the nurturing of faith that elevates a person even in his feelings and emotions? What has become of the nurturing of spiritual honour and human dignity? This kind of upbringing is missing across vast segments of this Ummah, and the reality bears witness to this: These events and ongoing tragedies, which have persisted with such brutality and criminality, testify to this truth.

These are extremely important facts, and our understanding of them should be reflected in what we prioritise. Staying the course is not an option. Rather, it will only lead to facing extremely grave consequences. Even if the Ummah eventually wakes up, by then it will have paid an extremely heavy price in blood, in honour, and in everything. Such a price—immense and tragic—will be the consequence of its neglect.

The Zionist Jewish enemies compete with one another and boast about their crimes, including the killing of children and women in the Gaza Strip. One of the Zionist soldiers—a notorious criminal—boasted that he killed six hundred Palestinians in the Gaza Strip! He takes pride in that! But who were those he killed? Were they from the fighters of the resistance whom he fought face to face?

The Zionist Jews are cowards in combat when facing fighters. Everyone knows what happens to them when they come face to face with our fellow mujahidin from the Al-Qassam Brigades, the Al-Quds Brigades, and other jihadist factions in the Gaza Strip. The Zionist soldiers hide and freeze in fear and terror, even inside their military vehicles, when the fighters advance towards them. So while this soldier boasts about killing six hundred Palestinians, these were only civilians, including women and children, who had no weapons and were not on any battlefield.

This is how they show disregard for the lives of our people. He boasts and brags about having exterminated these Palestinians—who are Muslims and Arabs—with such brutality and criminality!

The Israeli enemy is also destroying everything in the Gaza Strip. It is not satisfied with the destruction caused by its criminal machinery targeting residential buildings, so it obliterates entire neighbourhoods through airstrikes and fire belts and then sends its engineering units to finish the job through massive destruction. Nevertheless, the Israeli enemy began bringing in contractors to carry out the task of destroying the remaining homes, sometimes even re-demolishing already destroyed buildings to ensure they are completely levelled, leaving no partial ruins behind. These contractors are reportedly paid around $1,500 for every house they tear down. The Israelis want to ensure that no homes remain for the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Israeli enemy also continues its campaign of extermination through starvation, death traps, and massacres carried out in the very sites of humanitarian aid. These death traps are part of an American-Israeli plan aimed at controlling the humanitarian aid delivered to Gaza and using it as death traps: Whoever goes there may end up being killed. However, with the Palestinian people starving and suffering an appalling humanitarian tragedy, many are compelled to risk everything for aid. However, in doing so, they face constant danger of being targeted and killed, whether on their way to receive aid, during gathering, while receiving aid, or on their way back.

Indeed, the Israeli enemy kills some people on their way to receive humanitarian aid. Others are killed while gathering, some while receiving the aid, and others on their way back. Some are monitored until they are about to reach their families, only to be targeted. One haunting scene shows a Palestinian man returning with a sack of flour, and just as he was about to reach his home, the Israeli enemy fired a missile at him from a drone, tearing him to pieces over that sack of flour. What a horrifying display of aggression, brutality, and sheer criminal savagery.

This farce—involving the death trap and the massacres of aid [centres]—is among the most heinous crimes perpetrated by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people. It is also a disgrace for international institutions, nations, regimes, and governments to remain silent in the face of such atrocities and to fail to take every meaningful action possible against the Israeli enemy.

The Israeli enemy is emboldened to persist in committing the most heinous crimes because many regimes and rulers have failed to take even the most basic political, economic, or diplomatic punitive measures. Military confrontation or applying any military pressure is entirely out of the question. Hence, the Israeli enemy continues with this approach.

One of the major scandals revealing the true criminal nature of the Israeli enemy, along with the Americans, is the discovery of narcotic pills placed inside some of those bags of flour by the Israeli enemy. This is an extremely heinous crime carried out by the Israeli enemy. In fact, it is a joint crime between the Israelis and the Americans, aimed at spreading drugs and using them to target the population, even through those bags of flour, which only a limited number of Palestinians obtain even at great risk. This reveals that the Israeli enemy and the Americans are among the largest drug traffickers in the world. They use drugs to target other peoples, economies, and societies, including the youth of this Ummah.

In the northern part of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli enemy has completely emptied the area of hospitals, having either destroyed them or placed them under total siege, rendering them nearly non-functional. As a result, the wounded and the ill are left without any medical care. The Israeli enemy also targeted the director of the Indonesian hospital, and he was martyred as a result of that attack. Hundreds of the patients who suffer from kidney failure have died; according to some reports, over five hundred and thirteen of them have died due to being denied treatment, the complete lack of necessary medication, and a severe shortage of medical care. Similarly, many cancer patients have died, including hundreds among those who were awaiting the chance to travel abroad for treatment. Thousands more cancer patients remain under siege, with no access to medicine or adequate care.

Despite all this, the Americans continue to provide the Israeli enemy with thousands of bombs through additional shipments, enabling it to persist in its crimes against the Palestinian people and the peoples of our Ummah. A new massive arms deal has been announced, including 3,845 bomb guidance kits, each designed for bombs weighing 900 kilograms—nearly a tonne. All of this takes place in the context of genocide and the deliberate targeting of the Palestinian people and the peoples of our Ummah.

The Western support shipments hardly ever stop. It is not only America, but also Britain, Germany, and France that support the Israeli enemy. And this support is not limited to weapons (such as bombs, shells, and various forms of ammunition), but even extends to dogs specifically trained to maul human flesh. These are the so-called Western and European values: They train dogs to maul human beings and provide them to the Israeli enemy as part of their support to use them against children, the elderly, women, and the aged in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The tragedies resulting from this are immense, and many have been covered by various media outlets. Some were documented in videos released in recent months, and others reported in newspapers. There are horrific details. Where is the humanity in this? This is in complete contradiction to the very notion of it. They send police dogs specifically trained to rip into human flesh—even that of children. In one incident in the West Bank, a three-year-old boy was nearly killed by one of these dogs. It snatched him from his mother, mauled him severely, and seemed intent on gnawing him to death. Many instances of such appalling crimes are frequently reported. And investigations even in the British and European press have revealed that this represents a form of support being provided by European states to the Israeli enemy. This is utterly unfortunate!

As for the situation in Al-Quds and the Al‑Aqsa Mosque, the incursions into the mosque occur now almost daily, accompanied by Zionist calls to demolish Al‑Aqsa itself. In recent months and weeks, we have noted that the Israeli enemy employs a policy of gradual taming. The very act of invading the courtyards of Al‑Aqsa was seen as a serious provocation by Muslims, both within Palestine and beyond, since the responsibility to confront this issue falls on everyone, not only the Palestinian people. Yet day after day, the Israeli enemy persisted in these incursions, which involved insults, desecration of sanctities, and violation of the sanctity of Al‑Aqsa. These incidents have culminated in threats made from within the mosque's courtyards to destroy it, along with calls to erect the alleged 'Temple' in its place for the Zionists.

This relentless encroachment, brazen ambition, and ongoing taming represent a genuine danger to the Al‑Aqsa Mosque. That is, the demolition of the mosque is a clearly stated and defined objective in the Zionist plan. Indeed, it is considered one of its fundamental pillars. And all the measures the Jews take—including incursions, excavations, the Judaisation of Al-Quds, the isolation of its neighbourhoods, and the separation of Al-Quds from the rest of the West Bank—aim ultimately to achieve this criminal and aggressive goal of destroying the Al‑Aqsa Mosque. The mosque holds great and profound sanctity in Islam, being the site of the Prophet's Night Journey and the first qibla of the Muslims in early Islam.

The situation there is extremely serious. Anyone following the media and official reactions will find them genuinely cold, indicating a dangerous state of retreat from such a vital cause. This retreat affects not only the Palestinian cause within Palestine but also resonates across the wider Ummah (its peoples and states) and impacts its other sanctities such as the Sacred Mosque, the Kaaba in Mecca, and Al-Madinah. All these sanctities are targets in the Zionist plan. If the enemy succeeds in achieving its aim against the Al‑Aqsa Mosque, this will embolden it to pursue its aggressive objectives against other Muslim sanctities. Should Muslims reach a point of indifference towards anything that is sacred, great, and dear, it would pose an appalling danger to the entire Ummah. In fact, if the Ummah becomes unresponsive to anything, regardless of its significance or greatness, and fails to unite around any cause, this signifies a severe threat to it: This makes its enemies covetous of it and also causes it to lose Allah's care, support, and aid. Indeed, this is a matter of utmost seriousness; it is tantamount to the death knell for much of the Ummah.

Regarding the West Bank, the situation there is escalating:

Hence, the Israeli enemy engages in all forms of imaginable assaults throughout the West Bank.

As for the steadfastness of our fellow mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, they have shown extraordinary resilience over twenty‑one months under an extremely severe blockade, fighting with great valour and exceptionally high morale. What if those fellow mujahidin possessed the weaponry of the Arab armies, combined with their high morale, steadfastness, and resilience? The Arab armies were collectively routed in six days, while the mujahidin in the Gaza Strip have remained firm and unyielding for twenty‑one months, without defeat or retreat. Instead, they have displayed steadfastness and valour, inflicting significant losses upon the Israeli enemy.

Our fellow mujahidin from across the Palestinian factions in Gaza, most notably the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades, continue to resist the Israeli enemy using every means available, including:

Successful joint operations were also carried out by our brothers in the Al-Qassam Brigades and the Al-Quds Brigades.

Over the past month, June, the Israeli enemy admitted to the death of twenty soldiers. This is only what it has publicly acknowledged, as it continues to conceal the true extent of its losses in the media, which is evident. Even so, this number is significant; it marks the highest number the enemy has admitted to in a single month since the latest round of escalation. As one Zionist website says, June has been the deadliest month in Gaza this year. The Israeli army and its criminal gangs are also showing clear signs of exhaustion: One reserve military unit was completely depleted, which forced the Israeli enemy to replace it with another. This is in regard to the situation in the Gaza Strip and Palestine.

As for Lebanon, the Israeli enemy has committed more than 3,700 serious violations of its agreement with the Lebanese state so far. These include airstrikes, killings, land bulldozing, incursions, the occupation of positions in southern Lebanon, the failure to end that occupation, and assaults on fishermen, farmers, and shepherds—it is targeting every aspect of life in the southern villages bordering occupied Palestine.

The Israeli enemy also carries out incursions, which are among the most serious violations of the agreement with the Lebanese state. Furthermore, it conducts bombings, destruction, and demolition of homes, in addition to bulldozing farms.

In Syria, the Israeli enemy continues its various assaults, including incursions accompanied by the destruction of homes. In one area, it destroyed seventeen homes and forcibly displaced their residents. It also persists with kidnappings and commits all kinds of violations. It maintains full occupation with a military unit deployed from the summit of Mount Hermon to the border triangle of Jordan, Syria, and Palestine.

It continues with such a clearly aggressive approach, driven by its ambitions and criminal designs. In fact, this aggressive approach has no justification whatsoever, since there are no hostile forces to it in Syria.

Regarding the demonstrations held in support of Gaza, demonstrations and public gatherings took place in fourteen countries, including most European nations as well as others elsewhere.

A significant and positive practical step was also taken when the Irish government approved a draft law banning the import of goods from settlements in the West Bank and Al-Quds, making Ireland the first European country to officially adopt such a measure. While this remains a partial measure, it is nonetheless a concrete action. In fact, Arab and Islamic regimes should go much further than Ireland by taking serious, practical steps towards a total boycott of the Israeli enemy on both political and economic levels, and work together with other countries to isolate the Israeli entity.

As for the Arab and Islamic world, there have been demonstrations and public gatherings in Morocco, Mauritania, and Indonesia.

Regarding the Yemeni support front (the land of faith and jihad), the operations of this week (from Wednesday to Wednesday) involved the launch of ten missiles and drones. These operations were aimed at Israeli targets deep into occupied Palestine, specifically in Jaffa, Beersheba, Ashkelon, and Umm Al-Rashrash.

The most notable of these operations was the Tuesday evening operation using the 'Palestine Missile', which triggered sirens in hundreds of occupied towns and cities. Millions of Zionist Jews fled to shelters, and flights at Lod Airport were temporarily suspended.

With regard to Israeli maritime activity in our operational zone—specifically in the Red Sea towards the Bab Al-Mandab strait, the Gulf of Aden, and the Arabian Sea—the ban on the Israeli enemy remains in effect. The restriction on the movement of its ships through this corridor is ongoing and has been fully successful.

Regarding public activities, the new Hijri year began with great momentum, as seen in last week's demonstrations. Last Friday, there were 1,148 demonstrations, marches, and public gatherings, marked by exceptional and widespread popular participation.

That our country, both officially and at the grassroots level, holds fast to this conscious jihadi position, which is a response to Allah (the Almighty) and a fulfilment of a humanitarian, moral, and faith-based duty, is indeed a blessing and divine favour bestowed upon our people. Moreover, it is a necessary position—one that all the peoples of our Ummah need to adopt. In fact, it is essential for the Ummah as a whole, for this battle is a battle that concerns everyone.

If the Israeli enemy were to decisively win the battle in Gaza and completely eradicate the Palestinian cause, its next move would be to target other countries. The Israeli enemy is the enemy of our entire Ummah, of all the peoples in this region, of all Muslims, and of all Arabs without exception. It is an enemy responsible for the brutality, criminality, and tyranny we see in the Gaza Strip. Neither this state nor this Israeli aggression, brutality, and criminality against the Palestinian people is an isolated incident that could not happen to others as well. From the very beginning of their usurpation of Palestine—from the early formation of Zionist gangs and their first criminal campaigns against the Palestinians—the Zionist Jews have been chanting, 'Death to the Arabs'. Their cultural and ideological background, their beliefs as reflected in the Talmud, have instilled in them a profound enmity, accompanied by utter contempt and disdain for Arabs and Muslims in general. They are raised on criminality, hatred, and wickedness.

Therefore, whoever takes a comprehensive jihadi position—a correct position—is not only fulfilling a religious, humanitarian, and moral duty, but also making a necessary, conscious, and wise choice to protect themselves from an enemy that poses an equally grave threat to them as it does to the Palestinian people. This is an indisputable and established truth: It poses a threat to all, so everyone has a responsibility to act.

The rhetoric consistently repeated over recent months by the Americans and Israelis—even as recently as yesterday by the US State Department—alongside the Zionist Jews and their senior criminals, clearly expresses their aggressive agenda aimed at the entire region. All the peoples and even governments of our Ummah are not spared from this scheme. This agenda is branded as 'Changing the Middle East'.

Yesterday, once again, the US State Department reaffirmed this message. They've openly repeated it many times. The Israelis speak of it without pause. But what does it mean in practice? What kind of change is this, as envisioned in the Zionist scheme? On what terms, for what ends, and through what means? There is no need to say that this change is in favour of the Israeli enemy and primarily aims to entrench its dominance over this region and impose a status quo of unchallenged violation of our people’s blood, dignity, land, and sanctities. It also aims to erase the very identity of the Ummah. This very term should be enough to ignite outrage across the Ummah, as it targets every Arab and Muslim country in the region, which the enemies define as 'the Middle East'. When they speak this way, they are signalling a comprehensive campaign that targets the entire region.

Still, many governments, rulers, and elites remain silent, as though these threats were not serious. But they are. The Americans are actively pursuing this agenda, and so are the Israelis. This means stripping these peoples of their freedom, independence, human dignity, and spiritual pride. The goal is to entrench a status quo of unchecked aggression and domination in favour of the Israeli enemy while imposing surrender on the rest of this Ummah. That means disgrace in this world and a terrible punishment in the Hereafter. It means yielding to humiliation, subjugation, and domination at the hands of the worst kind of enemy: the thoroughly malevolent Israeli enemy. This Ummah must never accept such degradation or servitude. It is a profound disgrace for this Ummah. The Arab peoples alone are numerous, and Arabs are many. What could possibly drive them to accept humiliation, submission, and subjugation at the hands of such a vile enemy—the Zionist Jews? What drives them to that? This is utterly unacceptable—even to the most basic instincts of human nature.

Yesterday, America announced new sanctions on Cuba. Yet for over sixty years, Cuba has stood firm in its path of liberation and resistance to American dominance. Their only drive is their human nature. So what about us—Arabs and Muslims alike—whose drive is not only one of a human instinct? We have the religion of Allah, the Book of Allah, His guidance, and the inheritance of the prophets and messengers—which can elevate us, heart and soul, to the highest levels of human perfection. So what excuse do we have when a nation like Cuba—so geographically close to America—remains so steadfast in the face of more than sixty years of American siege? Every now and then, the Americans intensify their punitive measures, but none of that has weakened Cuba’s commitment to its cause of liberation, driven solely by its innate human instinct.

Our peoples will never find peace through submission, the acceptance of violation, or the abandonment of their Islamic principles and values. On the contrary, this enables their enemies to advance their plans for total domination.

If the motive behind surrender is to avoid the cost of taking a just stand for the sake of Allah—which brings dignity, victory, resilience, freedom, and honour—then refusing to pay such a cost will only lead to a greater loss. That price has grown precisely because of the Ummah’s prolonged neglect. Had the Ummah remained steadfast in its faith and true to its right path, it would have already been in a far stronger position; it would not have reached this low point. Had the Ummah remained firm in faith and true to its righteous path, it would be in a far stronger position today and would never have fallen to this level. If surrender and submission are driven by a desire to avoid making sacrifices for a just cause, then the loss incurred will be an immense and catastrophic loss that far outweighs, beyond comparison, the cost of holding fast to that just cause! No matter how immense, the sacrifices made for a just cause are limited; they bear fruit and lead to meaningful outcomes. In contrast, the far greater losses—in this life and the next—come from submission and surrender. And that is a perilous path indeed.

Allah has laid out for our Ummah—through His knowledge, wisdom, guidance, and support—a path of peace, might, and deterrence against the enemy: {'Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power and of warhorse garrisons to terrify thereby the enemy of Allah and your enemy '}[Al-Anfal 8:60]. This is the essence of deterrence: for the Ummah to be strong, to adopt a position of strength, and to pursue the means of victory, might, and deterrence that can dissuade the enemy from aggression.

The Iranian model, which we witnessed over twelve days in its response to the Israeli enemy and in confronting both Israeli and American aggression, offers a clear example of the fruits of this correct path—guided by Allah (Glory be to Him)—in both building power and using it effectively, with firm resolve and a decisive position.

A core strength of the Iranian position was their steadfastness. They did not surrender when attacked. They did not bow down, submit, or make concessions in response to American and Israeli demands. They offered no list of commitments, withdrawals, or compromises. Instead, they chose to respond forcefully to the aggression.

Another pillar of strength was the decision to respond—not only to respond, but to do so with high effectiveness. This was the fruit of preparation: the systematic building of strength. The missiles, in their various forms, were entirely Iranian-made—domestically produced by the Iranian people and by the Islamic system of the Islamic Republic. The result was a robust, effective, and decisive response that compelled the Israeli enemy to halt its aggression, despite American support and involvement, and the evident backing of Britain, Germany, and France. After twelve days, it could go no further. It was paying a steep price for its aggression due to destructive and effective strikes and precise targeting. This stands as a model for the Ummah, showing the reward of building strength and putting that strength into action against the enemy. This was achieved even in the face of an immense psychological warfare campaign that ran in parallel with the Israeli assault on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Why did the Israeli assault last only twelve days? The answer is clear: The forceful response compelled the Israeli enemy to stop its aggression. This illustrates the sound strategic equations that safeguard the Ummah across its nations and peoples: deterrence, powerful response, and sustained power-building.

The enemy was compelled to halt its aggression when it faced unwavering will, a firm position, and powerful capabilities, built through serious prior preparation, and saw an effective response and national unity in the Islamic Republic of Iran, with widespread popular backing and solidarity across the spectrum behind the Iranian armed forces and leadership. Otherwise, the aggression against the Islamic Republic would have dragged on. Today, too, there is full readiness to deliver an even stronger response to the Israeli enemy if it dares to commit aggression again.

Our fellow mujahidin in the Gaza Strip, too, have shown great effectiveness in their jihad, despite having extremely limited capabilities. Imagine what they could achieve if they had access to the capabilities held by the Arab armies. They possess the will, high morale, awareness, and the right direction. They managed to obstruct the Israeli enemy. In fact, it has failed; what it is doing to civilians in Gaza is not a victory. Its genocide, the killing of women and children, and the destruction of homes are anything but victory—it is criminality in the fullest sense. In military terms, the Israeli enemy—with all its military capabilities and its assembled brigades—appeared powerless against a small group of mujahidin in Gaza. These mujahidin possess very modest and limited military capabilities, yet look at their powerful impact and steadfastness, in contrast to the helplessness of the Israeli enemy. It has been unable to defeat them, to end the resistance, or even to recover its captives without a prisoner exchange. Negotiations are now underway, and we hope—Allah willing—they will bear fruit.

These sacred responsibilities are never meant to be a burden on the Ummah; rather, they are meant to build and protect the Ummah. Acting upon these responsibilities builds the Ummah, protects it, and grants it might and power, while neglecting them turns it into an ummah ordered to do wrong and forbidden from doing right, humiliated, subdued, enslaved, and oppressed, just as its enemies treat it today. This is precisely the condition its enemies seek for it, and they do command it to side with evil and abandon what is right, even in the face of all these acts committed by the Israeli enemy:

Despite all this, it is deemed excessive for the sons of our Ummah to take any position against such an enemy that so clearly embodies such aggression, injustice, and criminality. There are those who demand that our Muslim Ummah take no action (whether political, military, or economic) against the Israeli enemy in response to its aggression, tyranny, and savagery. Blame is heaped upon those who take any stance, even by many media outlets that claim to represent this very Ummah.

The Ummah truly needs to return to the Book of Allah (the Almighty) and to rise to its sacred responsibilities. Just consider the kind of language the West is using with us as Arabs and as Muslims in general: the language of the godless West—America, Britain, France, and Germany—is one sheer arrogance. It is a language that strips us, as a Muslim ummah, of all rights and refuses to acknowledge even the most basic among them. It denies all our rightful claims and prohibits us from taking any stance in defence of our legitimate rights—whether related to our homeland, our resources, our sanctities, our religion, or even our right to life itself. The Israeli enemy commits all these acts of unprovoked aggression, occupation, savagery, killing, and destruction—yet they say, 'Israel is defending itself,' and even declare their support for it in that! As if it were the Arabs who had crossed continents to attack the Israelis, to massacre them, to kill their women and children. This is nothing short of a complete denial of reality.

Despite the Israeli enemy committing rape, violations of honour and human dignity, torture, abductions, destruction, and all kinds of crimes, the West neither condemns these acts nor takes any practical position against them. Instead, it continues to provide the Israeli enemy with all forms of support.

Therefore, here in Yemen (the land of faith), we take this position with clarity and conviction. We are firmly aware not only of the correctness of our position but also of its spiritual, religious, and moral significance. This position is crucial and necessary for us as a Muslim ummah to keep our freedom, dignity, and honour intact. No matter the sacrifices, challenges, and hardships, this position is necessary, and we must hold fast to it. It is a noble and sacred act. The Israeli enemy and its supporters place this Muslim Ummah before two choices:

There is no such thing as a peaceful solution with the Israeli enemy—the only alternative to surrender is to force the Israeli enemy into submission.

This week, the Israeli enemy has made new threats, but its threats and assaults can never deter us from our position; on the contrary, they only strengthen our determination and resolve. In the past, the Israeli enemy carried out five operations against our country, launching 107 air strikes and naval bombardments. None of this changed our stance. It only made us more resolute.

The Americans, too, during a second wave of escalation that spanned seven weeks, carried out more than 1,700 air strikes and naval bombardments and deployed stealth jets, bombers, and every type of combat aircraft in their arsenal—yet they failed. Their campaign had no effect on our position.

All the sacrifices we offer for the sake of Allah are a source of pride, honour, and dignity. They are fruitful sacrifices, rewarded by Allah (Glory be to Him). They bring about great outcomes both in this world and the Hereafter.

Perseverance and steadfastness in our position, with patience and resilience, are fundamental and yield real results. In His true promise, Allah (Glorify be to Him) says: {'Give good news to those who patiently endure'}[Al-Baqarah 2:155], {'And Allah is with the patient'}[Al-Baqarah 2:249]. He also says, {'Allah is truly with those who are patient'}[Al-Baqarah 2:153]. For this reason, we remain steadfast in our commitment to oppose any act of aggression by the Israeli enemy. We are fully convinced of the justice of our cause, the soundness of our position, the necessity of holding this position in this world, and its vital importance for our salvation from Allah’s punishment in both this life and the Hereafter.

We call upon our dear people to participate in million-strong demonstrations tomorrow, Allah willing, in the capital, Sana’a, and across the other governorates, as a form of jihad in the path of Allah, in support of the oppressed Palestinian people, and as a reaffirmation of our steadfastness and ongoing commitment to this position.

We ask Allah (Glory be to Him) to grant us success in seeking what pleases Him. O Allah! Have mercy on our virtuous martyrs, heal the wounded among us, set free our captives, and grant us victory. We also ask Him to hasten relief and victory for the oppressed Palestinian people and for their dear mujahidin.

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
