Bayda - Saba:
The Central Security Forces branch in Al-Bayda Governorate organized a cultural and speech event today commemorating the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
The event was attended by Public Prosecutor Judge Ibrahim Al-Dailami and Al-Bayda City Director Ahmed Al-Rassas. Abdullah Al-Jamali, Deputy Governor of Al-Bayda for Administrative Units Affairs, emphasized the importance of reviving Ashura's commemoration to reflect on the injustice suffered by Imam Hussein and to draw lessons from this tragic event.
He noted that observing this anniversary reinforces the Yemeni people’s faith-based identity in confronting tyranny, embodied today by the United States and Israel. Al-Jamali described the occasion as an opportunity to embrace values of patience, steadfastness in truth, resistance against falsehood, rejection of humiliation and submission to the enemies of the nation, while strengthening resilience against global forces of evil.
He also highlighted the ongoing genocide and displacement conspiracy against the people of Gaza, pointing out that the Zionist enemy and its global backers have failed in the face of the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and their valiant resistance.
Meanwhile, Colonel Mohammed Al-Dhahbi, Head of Central Security Operations in the governorate, reviewed aspects of the events of Ashura, the tragedy, and the oppression faced by Imam Hussein (pbuh), drawing parallels with the suffering of the people of Gaza.
He discussed the historical significance and revolutionary motives behind Imam Hussein’s uprising, as well as his role in confronting tyrants and oppressors.
Additionally, Colonel Sharaf Danma, Director of Moral Guidance in the governorate’s security apparatus, stated that Imam Hussein’s revolution remains a beacon and a model for all oppressed peoples.
